列书单是一个很惬意的事，就跟Tao Lin这首任性的钓鱼诗一样。新年开门大吉，就这么率性一把。
以前读书，都是东一耙西一耙，一个朋友推荐的，一篇文章提到的，看维基词条找到的，上亚马逊蹦出来的，想到以前想读的，总之哪一本从充足或牵强的理由映入我眼帘的，拿来就读。这样并不坏，只是今年我想换一种玩法，老老实实对着书单看书，至少一个好处是减少了搜寻的成本。
edX网校伯克利大学的读书俱乐部，大概一个月一本古典小说。School Library Journal在2012年列出了100本给青少年的小说，我一直看着，不知道什么时候能看完；这种书单随时在变，不过即使依着一种，也不会错过什么，比如哈利波特和霍比特人就会在所有的单子上出现。最近我对纽约时报的所谓畅销书排行（_New York Times Bestsellers_）很感兴趣，其中的非虚构类书籍质量都非常不错，学有余力，或许可以拣几本读一读。
BerkeleyX Book Club
书还是要自己读，没人喂。不过跟着这样的读书俱乐部，好处是时间可以控制，一个月就一本，然后有伯克利的英文教授列出每本书的背景知识（社会、文化、词汇等）——读书读野了，得这样试试（下面的都是老派经典，不一定有趣，能看多少是多少了，幸亏大部分都接触过，读过中文版或看过电影）：

这个单子里的小说类时新的多，非小说类倒常常有惊喜。这个单子每周更新，虽然有不少重复，但如果紧跟着，人一辈子都不够用。
这周我看上的有小布什写他爸的《41》 （老布什是美国第41任总统，小布什是43任），还有_WILD, by Cheryl Straye，一个跌入生活谷底然后通过横跨Pacific Crest Trail找到自信的妇女的自传，FOOD_, by Jim Gaffigan，一个吃货的随笔（我不是吃货，比较好奇）。

去年留下了大量的待读书目。不过正如海子所说，如果此时没有阅读，就不要再读。如果以后它们以任何契机让我想真的读下去，那么它们可能就是真正有缘分的书，这其中包括但不限于

这部小说的背景是美国超级通货膨胀，导致经济崩溃，政府瘫痪，犯罪横行，然后主题就是一群设法自救的主角们如何退到山区生存。自从我了解了些火器之后，这种书终于能读出一些乐子。
